I started this Thread to post a question to see if anyone has a clue to why a company would make only 10 exhaust system for what I would call a very popular truck our Ford Raptor. I have had a order in with MBRP on there cat-back , black powder coated exhaust system for almost a month. I was notified I was #1 on batch 2 of the exhaust which would ship around the 23rd of this month. I have no problem waiting for a good product, shit we are all use to waiting on a good thing, we wait on our trucks for a while.. HA HA

Point is I found out Batch 1 consisted of only 10 exhausts, and now Batch 2 is of only 10. This being said Im sure they could sell more if they made more. Some people may not wait 60days for exhaust systems. ?? Just curious if this is done for marketing purposes, quality control???? Im sticking with MBRP and know they have been in business a long while now, but dont understand such limite production???

Production takes time! How many different finishes are there? Are those 10 only the black? Maybe it's less popular so they make more of the other finishes? (stainless, aluminum)

All I know is MBRP is awesome. Best sounding exhaust on basically everything.

Unless you have to have headers. Go to a local shop and have a custom exhaust put on. Any muffler you want, any size pipe routed and exited where you want. It costs dramatically less than one of the setups for sale. My exhaust was $70 including the muffler, pipe and labor

I think it has to do with the fact that they only sell ~12,000 Raptors a year. Small market.

Add to the above, MBRP is late into the game (aftermarket catback). Many have already invested in a catback system. So their market share of the first two years was narrowed. Had MBRP been in the game when I purchased my catback, I would have gone with them. (I had their catback on my 2009 Challenger R/T)

Damn! What kind of muffler did they use. Did you give them a ******** too? My Borla dumped after the rear axles was $300...and this exhaust shop is very reasonable.
