Who will be the first member to take delivery???

People who ordered Supercabs had no choice, but to order what they wanted. It's just not the popular model with the majority. There's only a handful of dealer ordered Supercabs in the system right now. Maybe I should've been more specific. If you ordered a Screw in July, you're Screwed (pun intended) into thinking you'll get yours before the dealer ordered trucks are purchased and driven away by consumers. You mine as well just cancel your order and buy one from the already ordered dealer stock since they're going to be sitting on the lots in less than a week and yours won't be delivered until January or later.

The same thing happened for the majority of Raptor owners in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2011 I ordered a superccab and didn't have a VIN after 7 weeks. I located a similarly equipped dealer stock truck and settled. Tailgate step was the only difference from what I ordered.

Ford needs to fix this problem with making dealer orders priority. If you place a custom order and a truck is currently being built as dealer ordered with similar equipment or is sitting on some other dealer's lot, it should then be yours and the unsold dealer ordered truck is placed on the back burner. Hopefully y'all get the point I'm trying to make. I've been chasing an 18 month old and 3 year old around since 7am, finally started drinking a couple STRONG adult beverages an hour and a half ago and no longer feel like I'm making sense when I proof read.

Hopefully that info is correct.

My truck was built 11/27 and is waiting for retrofit. I've seen trucks built as early as 11/14 that were shipped.

So I don't think there is a specific date where the retrofits cut off.



Is that based on what your sticker says or what you're being told by your dealer or Ford?



I have a 17' Lariat ordered for a customer with the 3.5 Eco and it's finally in transit here by rail. So they are shipping also

In 2011 I ordered a SCab & didn't have a VIN after 7 weeks.

SCab VIN in 1 week > Priority One SPECIAL ORDER

Yeah, only Ford dealer in town. I was surprised they were willing to deal with me. I was #2 out of their 7 allocations. Their dealer stock order was 1st and I'm assuming its waiting in line for retrofits as it was built early November.

can i swing by the dealership and check out yur truck when it arrives before ya drive 'er home? id like to see how it compares to my '13. i ordered from noller as well.

Also this Lariat left the plant on convoy status, then went by rail and will then finish it's journey by convoy. It's been 8 days since the truck was "released" for shipping and probably won't be here for another few days at least.

based on the news reports from earlier this week that indicate the 10speed transmission is the culprit - I think seeing an early October build is a good sign that trucks are moving.

That is with many assumptions (fixes for Raptors and non-Raptor 10 speeds are similar, etc)...

Early builds are definitely getting phucked...HARD.

Mine is still "awaiting shipment" when a truck built a month after mine is already on a dealers lot and probably sold.

This is all part of the Raptor game though. Same thing with my GEN 1 special orders.

I agree the 10 speed is one culprit but I believe the Raptors had more issues than just the tranny.

Unfortunately that's the risk you take when you order a new build early. If things go smoothly and there aren't any issues you get your order first. When issues like this crop up the early order people get the short end of the stick.

My truck wasn't built unit late 11/27 (according to my dealer vehicle visibility portal) or 11/23 (if you go by my window sticker) but either way its' sitting waiting for "retrofit" while trucks built both before and after it are already shipped.

I notice my window sticker date on the very bottom changes every so often, but nothing else on the window sticker changes, does anyone know if that means something.

Maybe they have made a update to my raptors "account"?

Also @jake17 My window sticker says Priority One SPECIAL ORDER as well, nothing really special about that from what i can tell.
