Here is the scientific answer to this discussion.

Watch a fooball game. Look at the color of their shoes. In particular, White vs. Black. Then see who appears to be running faster. It will be white. It's a well known illusion that happens to our eyes. Our team wore black to appear slower in football. At least that is what coach said. Try it and you'll see for yourself. It's true white is faster and better.

Except for the police. They see red as the fastest color.

I don't have that magical filter that everyone else has. I'm the same way in person but you can take that for whats its worth.

I thought a long time about how to answer this, cause at first I was kind of iffy about the cap myself but now I like it .

1. it isnt permanent.

2. its my truck.

No my comment was not stupid. I stand by what I said. If you want power locking tail gate and a bed cap well Ford has a truck for you its called the Expedition or you can buy a Raptor version from Hennessey. See problem is solved.
