At the time that was the only option for you had since you demanded it gets fixed.
You may still have something else going on because MetroNYC doesn't have a stall issue with the Tune your running.
Your running the exact same Tune JDM built for MetroNYC.

No I don’t think I am . I had the GT 500 TB at first so JDM wouldn’t tune it with his tune right? Plus I’m 91 oct? I added the ford racing TB a month after. Never did they update the tune. I read every where you need to but I don’t really know just what everyone says.
This is the problem I have with JDM they will sell you anything in a heartbeat but look at of fix something after it’s paid for lmao good luck. I was so patient with them and jumped thru all truer hoops 500 times and they wouldn’t even look at tune for me. I gave up doing this all summer I’ll find another tuner willing to fix something. What’s your thoughts on VMP or liveroins ?

MetroNYC's truck has the Gen.3 compressor, 65mm Ford Racing TB, 80 lbs. injectors and Headers.
That is the same you have now, right?

The GT 500 is a 60mm TB, it's too small and wouldn't work with the Tune (they built for MetroNYC) you wanted from JDM.

I'm going to have to pay the Tuner to redo my Tune when I upgrade to the Gen 3 compressor, no one is going to do this for free.
Your in the same boat, you just can't have different mods then the Tune was calibrated for.
MetroNYC paid JDM to recalibrate, they weren't going to do it for free.
It took JDM over a week of Dyno trials to get it running right.
Also MetroNYC is running stock BFG 2nd Gen. tires.
I believe you have different tires, yes?
I'm not saying that's the problem.
But different tire revolutions will affect the torque management in the tranny.
It's possible that the Tune is keeping the injectors off too long, for the mods you have. (Just guessing here)

Adjusting for different octanes is simple, just remove some spark advance.
The PCM's software is robust enough to compensate on it's own though.

right I think they gave me a different tune as I had the GT 500 TB when I got the injectors and tune from them.
I asked if i had the right tune for the new TB and that when the BS started. shit the BS started when I said the speedo was off, LOL they never revised it after adding the bigger TB. getting them to change or look at anything is like pulling teeth. I gave up on them and figured at least my shit wont blow up and it runs OK ( I know theres power left on the table cuz of TB)

I dont even know how to anwser any of this. I will pay for anything if thats the problem im not rich but I have no problem paying for service. if you seen my cars and the shit done to them you would understand that easy.

I have 35 toyo MTS they asked what tires I told them.

I asked for the same tune Metro has but not knowing his real name made it hard they Jim Jr had no clue what I was talking about. I didnt realize there were 2 ford TB until after I installed the injectors and tune. I called the next day and told Jim Jr something is off the whipple set up made way way more power he then told me about the 2 different TB and i ordered the bigger one right then. it came in a month later I installed and started having the issues we talked about. all they would do is tell me reload the tune I must of did that 5 times until I told them no I am not doing that anymore thats silly to keep doing that. Then they said oh your TB is leaking I said no its not. they went on and on about the O ring bla bla bla I said no its not leaking they still made me go to my shop 2 hours away and pull it off to just confirm what I already knew not leaking. right after that the whipple broke and I sent it in to get fixed. Jim Jr said thats what your problem was the whipple was broke causing the issues. after getting whipple back installed and that was not the case. I gave up on them. they would of just told me something else was the issue. when in fact they should of had me data log a run and they would see the TB is not in the tune and my idle is low but getting them to do anything like that is impossible. I asked a few times for then to look at this and every time was reload the tune thats the fix LMAO

sorry OP I dont mean to hijack your post. I just think all info should be out there. it dint do any of us any good if we keep the lil issues to ourselfs. i am not embarrassed Ill tell you my junk is messed up and why. Ill try not to bash the company but I wont hold back info to make them look good either.
Whipple was so bad i didnt give them a 3rd chance I pro should have.
JDM had 17 chances they just didnt want to look at the tune no matter what. sayin that its not a bad tune just not perfect and I paid for perfect and even bought parts they wanted to make sure it was perfect. making excuses to not look at the tune is ****** IMO.

Yeah I know you've gone through a shit load of problems, I feel for you.

From 7 years of experience loading Tunes on the SCT X4, I would try this.

Put the stock Tune back on the Truck.
Remove ground cable from battery.
Take your X4 device and plug into and good working Windows 7 or 10 machine. (7 works better for me)
Remove/delete any Tunes, backup any Tune files on the device if you don't have the originals.
Make sure to rerun a firmware update on the device.
Reload the custom Tune file JDM sent you. And only the one Tune.
Don't move the X4 or USB cable at the time of loading!!!
Connect ground cable and load Tune.

Now when loading the Tune you can not operate anything in the truck, even getting in and out the will active airbag monitors.
I turn off anything, Climate Control, Nav screen, Auto lights off, keep doors closed, etc.
If your not sure of the state of your battery attach a battery charger.
Things will be on and run like, the intercooler pump, sensors, relays, monitors, etc.

I'm sure you have done almost everything I mentioned when you did this a hundred times before.
Just making a check list for you.

At least you can rule out the Tune wasn't loaded correctly.

Let it idle till operating temp without giving gas or at least till the rpms drop to 600-650 in neutral, then drive.
But normally, don't just go out there and blast it right away.
Setting a good learning table with a full drive cycle is key, especially if you're having issues.

Rocket,

I haven't heard from you in a while, since about the time we spoke regarding your Whipple making noise and the possibility it may be causing the problems. I never resorted to saying that was it and we weren't going to help going forward. You decided to go elsewhere. We are still willing and eager to help.

Now for the fact of hundreds of Whipple Supercharged Raptors run our tune with out these issues I'm having a hard time seeing it being the tune. These days everyone wants to say its the tune. But fact of the matter 95% of the time there is a mechanical issue. We aren't there with the truck so it is difficult to diagnose but we've answered your calls and emails and tried our best to do so.

Give us a call again we will be happy to do datalogging or further trouble shoot your issue.

Thanks!

JimIII@JDM
