You were clear the first time. I didn't disagree.

What I said, so that I am clear, is that even if Ford doesn't get involved in this project, Whipple could get CARB on their own. They will contract with the testing contractor either way.

Got a email back from whipple about their supercharger kit. Here is the response I got back.

The black kit is $7199.99 and will be released about Dec. 1st of this year. We are taking orders now to hold your spot in line though we are not taking deposits yet. Makes about 520rwhp and includes all mounting hardware, tuning, fuel system and sold air kit.

RaptorSVT.. Did Whipple say if it voids the factory warranty from ford?

To be honest I never asked about factory warranty.

I've always been under the assumption that if you mod it good bye warranty. I'll fire off that email and ask.

*Update*

Technically they can not void your warranty just by adding an aftermarket product though if something happens to the motor or drivetrain, they can say it was from the supercharger. We are finalizing the details on an optional warranty program now for a 3yr/36k mile, 5yr/60k mile and 5yr/100k mile powertrain warranty that will range from $275 to $775 addition cost but must be installed by an authorized dealer.

I think that warranty is very well worth the price. Hell 5y/100k for $775. I'm in with both feet jumping!
