Just pulled the trigger on the kit. Not too confident anyone is cracking the 24 ECU anytime soon so what the hell. Anyone have info on ship times from Whipple to the east coast?

Losing hope on the '23 as well. Hell, its been 2-2.5 years, I figure if it was going to be able to be cracked it would have happened by now. For some reason I can't make myself believe there's someone sitting down every day trying to get into the ECU lol.

I had their tune on my 2018, it was significantly worse than the mpt tune I got after. I had to return to stock file before mpt can tune it. Their customer service was horrible and wasted months until I was able to pry the stock file out of them. So that’s a no for me
Damn well thats not good

If anyone ends up grabbing this tune please post up your thoughts. I really think Cobb is a long way out, if it ever happens at all.

Also the tune it self is sold stand alone.

I installed it today. Noticeable difference in boost psi ,pedal response ,and shift points. Only other tune I have to compare it to was MPT tune on my 20 raptor. Although it’s not MPT. It’s a big difference over stock. Me personally I think it’s worth getting since there’s not a lot of options for 2024 and up. It’s way more fun to drive.

Did you get any info from your dealer regarding on if it impacted your factory warranty?

Were you given an option to save your stock tune? Whipple says you should save it, which leads me to think you can. That’s according to their CS.

How is the shifting?
Are you running 91 or 93?

You can not save the stock tune with the Tomahawk tool, you can only save the stock calibration file that Whipple uses to create the Tune Bin File. There is no way to flash back to Stock tune with the Tomahawk tool.

I know next to nothing on how these ECUs are unlocked. But I have to wonder if it's mainly just Cobb, for example, getting the "rights" to tune the 23/24 ECU.
It's cool to see Whipple "tune" but in reality it's still a canned tune. Not sure how willing Ford is to allow custom tuners have the ability to tune as seen fit with various tuning platforms like HP tuners, SCT or Cobb.

Fair point. Maybe its not a matter of cracking a code and just getting Ford to release the rights to it or something. I don't know enough about that part of it either. The Super Duty is in the same boat though. '22s can be swapped to a '21 and be tuned but after that the '23+ there is no tuning.
