Which relays and where to buy?

I understand wiring and I will be needing to incorporate some relays. When using a relay where do you put them physically? Are they weather proof? Do you screw them to something?

I'd like to buy quality, what and where should I buy them? Thanks...joe

what kind of relays? spdt, dpdt? bosch makes good relays. but most relays are not 100% weatherproof, however if you dont have a choice, if you mount them properly they should not be much of a problem

if you are using relays under the hood, i would make sure the terminals are pointing down, you can screw them or zip tie them. doesnt really matter.
