Installed the RetraxPro MX by myself yesterday, no real issues. The rear seal at the tailgate could be more robust, I'll see how it works and revise if needed. Thinking of adding a 3rd set of clamps in the middle of each rail if possible. Took the truck in a 400 mile test drive today and the cover is still there, LOL. Even though my truck has a spray bed liner I ordered a thick, soft Dee Zee mat to make it easier on my knees and keep stuff from sliding around. $88 delivered, hard to go wrong.....
I am happy for you. But I am sad that I bought same tonneau as you. Wait you bought the pro; I bought the one series.

Just installed the MX4. Looks pretty good. Couple of comments.
1) Don't install outside when it's below 30C (hard to do in Michigan in the winter).
2) Broke the bed plugs while removing them (probably because it was damn cold). Ordered new ones from amazon $24.
3) Missing a screw, but had an extra "nut" for the snap locks.
4) Don't like the "raw edge" of the extrusion in the back - see pic. Looking for suggestions.
5) A little tight to close the tailgate.
6) Waiting for the weather to warm up to hopefully "flatten" some of the weather strips.
7) Quality of the drilled holes a little rough.

Overall, I like it..... ridiculously easy to install. Great youtube vids to help.

I was missing a screw as well on my MX4. hardest part for me was figuring out the correct orientation of the black plastic tie down clips. instructions were not very clear there.

in regards to alignment. I installed mine in the garage during a snow storm. Did the best I could, and ended up tweaking the alignment here and there a couple times. Will check it again when it warms up, but overall I am happy.

I dont have a spray in bed liner and went with the weather tech liner. all in all the 2 together offer a good combination of protection and usability.
