No way could I drill into the roof like that, it leaks already at the break light and Ford can't seem to fix it. I can imagine what Ford would say with this modification.
I do like the Vertex tho.

I put enough silicone in and around everything before ******** it down I'm not to concerned about it leaking unless something were to hit it and knock it loose and break it. I thought about putting some on the brake light.

One thing I did notice and I am not sure you did or did not mention it in the write up. Did ya put some touch up paint or something on the inner lip of those holes to prevent moisture from starting some rust? I did this on my number for the rear facing lights.

Yes I did a spritz of some black. Forgot to out that in there. I actually thought about it after I mounted the lights. Took them off real quick and hit it.

Had to put a bead of clear silicone around the lens and flange. Even though I'm pretty sure no water can get into the cab, I needed that extra peace of mind. Now if water gets in it'll have to break the seal on them. Some clear silicone and a wet finger leaves a nice smooth bead just big enough for a seal.
