I want to get a set of wheels in the next month or 2. I'm wondering if the wheels with the trim rings are a giant pain in the ass to keep nice in the northeast with all the salt and the brine that's on the road? I want to get a wheel with close to stock fitment. I'm looking at the Raceline 934G with the rings. Nick at Apollo just got some new wheels that I like also, from Alpha Equipt.

I’m from PA and can second you on the salt and weather, but I have no first hand experience with those two brands. Nick hooked me up with a set of Venomrex that are currently suffering through winter and I will report on their finish once spring rolls around. I have had a range of aftermarket wheels on my previous non-raptor trucks and all have done fine; I also clean my trucks pretty often. Monday is supposed to be in the 50s; better believe I’ll be cleaning her.

Thanks, I'm from PA also. That's really what I was looking for, not necessarily just those wheels, but how different brands are holding up to the crap we have here in the winter. I'm open to different wheels, but trying to stay close to OEM fitment. I really like the look of the beadlock type but I'm nervous they could be a nightmare in our salt mess to keep nice in the winter.

I just picked up a 19 and have the beadlocks as well, also a lil worried about them in the salt in NE Ohio. Im gonna pull all the trim bolts and put some antiseize on the threads to hopefully prevent snapping them when I need to remove them.

Also I religiously at a minimum rinse the salt underneath and on the wheels when its above freezing. I plan to spray the wheels down with some Sonax BSD tomorrow while I wash and its warmish out.
