Not sure if this helps, but I added 1.5 inch wheel spacers to stock rims and my tires sit pretty much flush with the stock fenders.

Thank you, that is exactly what I was looking for...since my factory rims are +44 it helps me to plan which offset to buy.

20” rims on a raptor? Might as well go with spinners.

...a little harsh...but I actually already have the tires (for free) so 20's it is.

Naw not really how is someone asking about modding an 06 F150 have anything to do with Gen 2 Raptor Forum. He should talk to people that know about his specific model and what works and what doesn't work for that model in specific; fenders, suspension and wheels. Raptor suspension and parts are not freely interchangeable as he is thinking.

Trying to save him time actually.

You could google 2017 Ford Raptor Rims and it would show you they are 17x8.5 +34.

I did Google it, and if you read my post you would see that I knew they were +34...but...my question was how do they sit in relation to your fender, which has since been answered.

^ 1.5" spacers will put your wheels around +6 offset then based on your factory wheels.

I intentionally waited for this thread to build the obvious replies it would generate before responding. Didn’t want to be the first *******.

LOL life's too short I always like being first

Hey Everyone, first post so be gentle...

I'm doing a Raptor conversion on an '06, and I am in the process of buying wheels. I'm looking at 20x9 xd Deltas, and I need to decide on an offset. Bear in mind that I will be putting '17 fenders on, but I DON'T yet have the front suspension.

My question is how far inward would you say the stock rims sit in relation to the fender, and what offset are they? I believe I have read that they are +34, but I'm not sure.

I want to make sure that my new rims don't look goofy, and I would like them to sit as flush with the fender as possible.

Thanks for any help

p.s. If you're still reading this...can you tell me which take-off Raptor front suspension parts will bolt on to an '06 4wd?

Will the fenders be on prior to the front suspension? If so you'll probably need 2" adapters and 9" wide wheel with somewhere around a +00 offset.

Thanks for the help! With what you're suggesting, is that to get to "flush" with the fenders?

In all honestly, I'd be "happy" to at least get the same look as a stock Raptor's offset...but of course flush is the goal (personal preference)...I just don't want it to look like trash.

They make the wheel I like in +18, and -12....but they have it in black at +00.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to answer...The order would wheels first...then whichever I can source first...I'd prefer fenders...but if I can find a suspension "package" I might do it first.

I think you're judging a little quick....I have 20's on mine and I'm pretty sure their not what you are imagining.

I agree...but I'm just a "troll" so what do I know? lol

-12 will look better w/o suspension. You could always do the +18 and make the adapters 2.5" thick. Just make sure you get quality adapters. I recommend Motorsport tech. The +18 will fit better when the new UCA/LCA's go on.

Keep in mind the Raptor rear axle is much wider than the standard F150 so if you plan on getting bedsides the rear will look off as well.
