wheel offset question

does wheel offset affect rubbing at full lock or is it just tire diameter? I have 37's on methods with zero offset. They do not rub at full lock. I put a different wheel on with -12 offset and it rubs. Is this due to the negative offset? thanks

A negative offset will push the wheel even further away from the hub, which could explain the rubbing. Bare in mind that the stock wheels have a 34mm (positive) offset which is already an inch+ closer to the hub than your method wheels. If you’re planning on keeping those negatively offset wheels you may have to look into some fiberglass fenders and maybe a bit of trimming.
