What's this mystery hose?

Found this black rubber hose. One end connected to the rear axle, the other end hanging loose. Where's it supposed to connect to? Can anyone show me a picture?

Breather hose. Should be a clamp up above that came loose.

Clamp it as high as you can. It's function is to keep water dirt sand etc. The higher it is the better. Like forging gear for axel.

right above the diff, on what appears to be the bed, it clamps on to there. probably gonna need to get under there. you can see it on here, http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f11/lpw-differential-cover-review-13594/

There is a spot above the rear, on the bed cross brace that it pluged/clamped into.

I found something that looks like a black plastic nipple on the cross member right above it. Is that what it goes on?
