Other than tearing things off and plating more metal around the frame the bump stop is about the only thing to help prevent the rear frame from getting slammed. The front can bend too. I for one stopped jumping as to me, I've done it, its cool but too many variables of something to go wrong so I stopped. I hit a jump for 3 days in a row and one time hit it wrong and it only takes once. So I've already replaced the frame once and don't plan on doing that again and my back will thank me.
