OTD in CA means everything included. Vehicle price, Tax, Title, Registration and DMV and Dealer Fees.

I'm not originally from CA so it took me a bit to understand what them were saying by out the door.

Now I know, and wow does your ass hurt after leaving a dealer out here :)

Yup, but I guess my point is, OTD with taxes and all vary from state to state, because some states don't have sales tax or very low sales tax, so when someone says "I got mine for 65K OTD" and they don't have to pay taxes, then this creates a "wow, how did you get that price".

Anyway, using MSRP baseline and $$$ off that before paying taxes and all is equal across the board.

just my 2 cents when we are talking in pricing threads.

I have bought out of state (not a Raptor) and I had to pay the California sales tax and registration at DMV, I had to get a California smog check and because it's a commercial vehicle I had to get it weighed. Most dealers in California say 10% for tax, license, and doc fee. So a $60,000 sale price would be $66,000 out the door. In May 2019 I went to Ken Grody in Buena Park only to see all the colors in person because they had over 100 Raptors in stock. Yes they had the crazy $20,000 over MSRP. I went for a test drive and they told me what they would give me for my trade and I left. Two days later I get a call and they said MSRP and threw in a Linex bedliner and gave me $3,000 more for my trade than any other Ford dealer or Carmax. I bought at Ken Grody. Yes I found some dealers out of state that were discounting but I had a trade and could live with the deal I got. I really hope you do find a dealer who will discount the $72,000 Raptor $13,000 to hit that $65,000 out the door price. Keep us posted.

Yep. In PA we have 6% sales tax which will add about $4k to the purchase price without consideration of a trade-in. Purchase price prior to TTL is best way to compare apples to apples.

I purchased in mid February, and the truck had been on the lot since October, so they wanted to move it.

A large dealer in Colorado Springs had 99 Raptors on their lot and didn't want to move off MSRP, Medved had 5 on the lot. Different dealer, different state of mind.
Oh I thought you were saying OTD for that price. Probably Phil long in the springs ha.
