I shopped around for a few months before I purchased my 2010. I can't see this selling for more than 35-37k. If you can trade it in for 37k, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Did you get a lot of low balls in denver ?? And how did you end up selling yours? I thought about takeing my to car max like someone had said to do

I listed it in autotrader. First day ad went live, sold it to the very first person who called me. Prior to that I tried craigslist and listing it on the forum, but no luck with either.

Autotrader is fantastic. I think its like 75$, but your ad stays up there till the car is sold. Craigslist works, but be prepared for the "Dude I got 30k cash right now today". I found that if you're going to buy a car at the dealership you are trading your car into, they will give you a better trade-in value. For example, if your going to buy a GT500 and put the Raptor as payment toward one, they may give you $38k-40k. You'll get the most money selling it private party obviously, depends on how long you want to wait really.

This is untrue your vehicle you trade has what's called ACV which stand for Actual cash value. Although many dealers will tell you well because you trade it in for this one I have I am going to cut you a steal of a deal. in reality he would have sold you the one he had for less and paid you less for yours. In reality it is exactly what you want to happen, at least in California. Your taxed based upon the sale price so if you get less for yours you pay less tax by buying for less.... just a tip to save money.. I have worked around car dealers for 30 years and what he said above is exactly what they want you to think...
