What raptor look do u like better? Gen 1 Gen 2 gen 3?

Looks are subjective. I personally like the looks of the Gen1, especially with 37's, custom wheels, a lift, minus all the decals and in black and white. IMHO, the Gen2 raptor looks like a standard F150 until you get close enough to see the wider fenders. Gen1's wide fenders, hood and grill tells you its a Raptor from any distance and angle. Gen3 hasn't grown on me yet, I'm just not feeling the looks of the G3.

My opinion is from a purely exterior aesthetics standpoint & an “executing the intent of purpose through design” the Gen2 is the best hands down, & from what I can tell on blogs/commentary etc seems like this is the consensus. The Gen3 is the most refined in terms of exterior looks & regardless of actual proportions even w/ 37”s the Gen3 doesn’t appear as muscular/aggressive/wide as the Gen2

I really appreciate the coilovers out back & the 37”s & the big upgrade in interior design- but purely exterior standpoint gen2 > gen1 > gen3

It's the opposite for me. To me the gen 1 looks more like a standard F150. But it's all good all 3 gens are awesome trucks.

Wow! what a community. I love how respectful everyone is and how we can talk about our likes and dislikes without any one getting butt hurt. It's funny. I have learned so much just in this thread alone about what and why everyone prefers certain Gens over other's and why they love It. it has honestly made me come to dive even deeper into each truck and appreciate these trucks even more. Awesome! All I gotta say is great minds think alike and we are all driving raptors. LoL

Things that I do really like about the gen 3 is the 37s my God I would kill to put bigger tires on the gen2 If I knew I wouldn't be chopping it off at the knees. LoL second that touch screen ohhhhh baby I want finger dat. Third those coil springs. Ohhhhh baby i would love to lift my truck skirt and show them coils to ma friends.

GEN 2 carbon fiber package shifter—looks/feel fits the truck perfectly vs. the folding GEN 3 shifter.

The folding shifter in GEN 3 was a solution to a problem (flat workstation)—that I doubt many Raptor owners cared about.

Why would you be chopping it off at the knees? Don't understand that? Do it right the first time. New glass front fenders, 3.0 FRS, Deavers, bump stops. Buy once, cry once.
