Don't mean to hijack your thread ZBoater, but what kind of gas mileage do you see on the streets with your 93 tune, locktech?

5 star 93 performance tune 13 mpg average, 14 mpg pure highway 72 mph and very light throttle.

5 star 93 economy tune 15 mpg average, 16 mpg pure highway 72 mph and very light throttle.

Could not imagine driving the truck on stock tune. Shift logic and throttle response are for absolute crap.

You will have 5 tune choices from 5 Star Tuning. I'd recommend trying a couple of them out to see what you like. There are various performance, towing and economy options for different octane levels, and customizable transmission shifting strategies from stock to wild to suit your needs. We are dealers for 5 Star Tuning and can help assist you through the tune choices and purchase. Feel free to PM for pricing and details...

That's crazy. That's better mpg than what I get on my stock tune.

93 performance from Mike @ 5-Star. I had him turn down the trans shifting a bit since I think it is too harsh for everyday city driving. Mike is great to work with and will customize to you're preferences.

Depends on your fuel. I get those numbers on Shell 93. I'll get 1 mpg less on generic. I'm not certain but it may be ethanol free from one particular station I fill up at over in Ohio. There are no signs present saying it may contain 10% ethanol which I thought was law for them to have to post it.

is it taboo to ask for a tune? i have a stock 6.2 and an sct x3 but it didnt come with any tunes. if anyone could PM or email me a performance 87 tune so the tranny shifts better and the gas pedal is more touchy that would help me out so much.
