Hey man nice truck keep on doing what you like and enjoy wrenching on your truck. Ignore those that might get upset because you are trying to make your truck more like a Raptor. And for those haters out there, those out there trying to make their trucks look like or perform like our Raptors is a compliment to our trucks, relax you own the original, but above all be nice! Please.

Don't listen to all the haters. The haters is just going to hate because they wish they have the skill, time and the passion to do what you did. A very nice and clean build. But on the flip side, with all that money you spend on this build why don't you just buy a Raptor? Just asking.
Thanks.

My goal was to build a truck that could out Perform a factory Raptor. I just happened to get great deals on OEM components along the way. All in, including the truck, I’m only at about 35k.

I would like to upgrade to the big leagues with a mid travel suspension kit in the near future but am working on getting all of the exterior work finished first. Surprisingly, I think this is way more difficult than the suspension swap.

Bone stock Gen 1s in my area with less than 150k miles are hard to find for under 35k so I think I’m doing okay so far!

I’ve also managed to recoup most of my costs whenever I’m selling the original pieces as well. So that’s something that I’m not factoring into the cost equation.

I have the GEN2 muffler back exhaust pipes/tips with only 2K miles. And the stock intercooler and some other parts. Let me know what else you need.

Super cool. Nothing wrong with converting it if that’s the motor you wanted. There’s a single cab in my area that’s fully converted and it looks super cool.

My buddy wants to do that to a newer diesel. I’ve had raptors and he loves how they drive, but he wants the economy of a diesel and he’ll never take the truck in the dirt for what it was made for. He’ll be 98% on the road and 2% on back road trails. The tremor looks cool, but we’ll have to see if it’s more comfortable than a raptor on the streets.

be nice now. as you can see, he has done a lot of work to the truck. you have to acknowledge and admire the amount of time spent to modify a vehicle, no matter the vehicle. what you dont like, someone else will. and so the opposite is true too. people wrenching on their own vehicles is becoming like common sense...... its disappearing. throwing money at a problem or project just makes it someone elses problem or project. learning about how things work and why is the basis of most of us here on the forum. lots of people dont like the ecoboost, but its here to stay, so we have to deal with it. but be nice and welcome the new member. we have an ecoboost vs v8 thread somewhere...

Don't care, doesn't belong here it's not a Raptor, stay on topic.

While I agree that it's the time and care owners put into their trucks, I do admit, I wish the "FORD" grill would not be available or used by anyone other than Raptor owners.

Lots of talk from someone who limits who views their profile. Just sayin’...
