I love Borla Pretty much the same as Corsa. Great sound just a little different than Corsa with no drone and very well made. Had Borla on my last truck for 2 years before i traded it in on the Rap and the mufflers looked just as good as when they were put on. cost more but you get quality that will last a long time.

Exhaust

Not to sound too generic, but I love the sound of the Roush exhaust...yeah it's a little pricey....but then again....so was the truck. Can't wait to re-deploy home to install it!:burnout:

When I get back to the mainland I have a goal of finding an exhaust for the truck that sounds as good as the system on my GT500KR. Absolutely one of the best sounds I've ever heard. Screams at WOT, (fairly) chill when cruising, and a great pop-pop on downshifts. As far as where to dump it, I'll probably go in front of the axle like JDUB. Though I have to admit I love the Lightning-style exits in front of the wheel. Tecman, glad you like the sound, but having tips out the back is just asking for trouble. I've already bent the plug bracket on the hitch from offroading last summer. Roush tips would have been destroyed. Just food for thought!

Have at you!

Maybe I can have them customized once I get them (since they're already on order). It shouldnt take too much to have them not come out the back end....then again the tire would fling mud all over it..interesting viewpoint to consider.

Whatever Corsa does, that's what I want. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.

They have a nice deep sound at idle/start-up and a pretty aggressive sound at WOT. But they really shine at cruising speeds where there is literally zero drone.

I am pretty sure they will be able to beat the Corsa price if they decide to bring a system to market.

These guys are very familiar with the GT500 and other Mustangs. I will mention it to them.

I would rather have mud flung all over the tips, than have them in front of the tire. I want the most tire face available to rocks and obstacles.

I showed my brand new raptor to my friends, and they loved everything except how mild it sounds knowing what the monster is under the hood.

I am interested as well. I agree I want a nice loud noise at WOT, the pop at the shifts, but with "minimal" drone at highway speeds. I'd definitely be interested in headers as well. I really like the turn down before the axle but I don't believe it is street legal and since its my daily driver, that's no good. I also like a turn down as well because it is out of the way. Lastly, I not only want it to sound good but to actually benefit performance. Maybe even without tuning. I am pretty amateur and my other vehicles, 1992 f-150 and 97 wrangler both have cat-backs on them without tuning and I liked what it did to both of them.

Just want to bring this back up again. If there is anything else you guys want to see in a system let me know. I am going to share your feedback in a little while, so don't miss out if there is something you want to see in a system

1. Deep sound
2. Minimal/no drone on highway
3. Deep/loud when you get on it and on startup, yet mild while cruising
4. T304 Stainless
