It's a non functional knob for the 2015 F150. For the 2016 Raptor it will be used for controlling the rebound and compression dampening for the front and rear Fox 3.0's on the fly. Duh?

I'd recommend a screen protector then; the factory screen scratches very easily.

Had it a year with no scratches. I'm pretty careful with the interior of the truck as is and only use a swiffer duster to clean the interior and the Ford supplied Navigation lens cloth to wipe it down. I don't like the look of other cleaners and what they do to the interior. If I need to clean a spill (like coffee or something) off the interior plastic I just use a damp microfiber or damp rag and clean it up. I don't see the need to spend extra money on "interior detail spray" when all we have is plastic for panels.
