I swear there is a recent thread on the Ingersoll Rand on here. That will be my next impact. Read all the reviews on Amazon. You can work on a semi truck all day long with that bad boy.

IR W7150 has significantly more torque than anything else still, snap-on, makita, dewalt, you name it.

Biggest downside with it is the size, it's a big damn thing. I'm looking at getting a 5150 to go with mine because honestly it will do 90% of the jobs. You really only need the big dog for suspension work etc.

x2 I have this one and absolutely love it, the battery lasts a long time and recharges fast. It's the strongest cordless impact on the market. Perfect for removing wheels, drivetrain and suspension work.

I use Snap-On. This thing has incredible torque. I will be honest and say that if there is a lug nut that's too tight, such as on a brand new honda, and our air impacts can't cut it, the Snap-On airless will. Damn batteries drain fast though. Charge them and keep them off the tool till you use it.

I used a 18v Snapon it's a great gun but it's a bit expensive. for years and I have been looking for something comparable as far as bpm and tq the only thing that came close was the Milwaukee and it's quite a bit cheaper.

I do love the Snap-on. I've used one a number of times and never had a bolt a lug I can't undo. However, I picked up this bad boy the other day and I love it as well. Changed a strut on my wife's G37s and there was only one bolt it couldn't break loose and that took all my weight (235lbs) on a 3ft breaker bar so I'll give it a pass for that one. Haven't tried it on the raptor lugs yet but I will soon as lugs were the may reason for buying it. Was handy as hell on the strut replacement though. Compressed the springs and broke everything off with a breeze. It broke the G37s lugs extremely similar to the Snap-on so if it works it's the perfect gun to leave in the truck.
