What is Fake Engine Noise

It's always on. Forscan is probably the easiest way to turn it off. I haven't turned mine off but have heard its pretty minimal and not a night and day difference one way or the other.

I disagree. To me, and those that are gearheads the sound is very evident. I turned mine off immediately. I notice it instantly in any manufacturer that does it. BMW and many OEM's do it now.

Also, once i upgraded my sound system, the fake noise became much louder. Its like a video game now, super lame

Turned it off on 2017 as I did not like it coupled with FP exhaust. On 2020, turned it off and on few times with Forscan.....finally left it on. May turn it off again on day. Obviously on the fence.

Wondering when someone in the aftermarket will take this concept from Audi. It’s called the Sound Booster

The Electro vehicles have to have it. Imagine hearing an eggbeater noise coming out of them at low speed.

I turned mine off with Forscan shortly after getting the truck. The sound system is handicapped as it is.
