What happens if you don't change the cam phaser?

So, this form has been helpful, I think I have my first question answered on why the tubos quit. Now for this one-I had the cam phaser issue changed fixed under warranty at around 50k. If of course started making the diesel noise again at start up, but the dealership Keowee Ford has refused to change it. I believe based on what I have seen on line as well as from talking to others just just put the defective replacement part in and not the update?

Anyway, I've lived with it for some time. What eventually happens if you don't replace it? Will the motor blow due to a timing chain issue or other? This is an aggravation and expensive fix.

Thanks

If you didn’t have recall/CSP 21B10 done back in 2021 you will continue to face repeat VCT failures due to wear.

Without the new calibration the phasers are starved for oil at hot idle and begin to wear abnormally, resulting in failure.

does this apply to standard 2019 F150 3.5L ecoboost as well? or only raptor/limited?
