So my truck was set to mid-perch by the previous owner and the snap ring that gets moved left some nasty rust on the now exposed lower groove area.
I'd like to try to remove some of that rust if possible, but I'm not sure what type of finish is on the shock tubes. I'm guessing they are brushed aluminum with a painted clear coat?
