Thanks! Hell yeah, I'm always game!
I'm ready! Just did a Willwood big brake upgrade and brake lines on my JK and of course had to forklift flex her at work to make sure the lines were good.

I had a buddy who had the Baer kit and he upgraded to tons, so I was able to pick it to cheap. One of the most critical mods at this stage, it stops on dime now. Had to go larger reservoir to get enough volume of fluid, but once that was dialed in, panic stops went from actual panic to "we've got this".

Great looking rig! You find yourself out here in Colorado, let me know. Always looking up to hit a trail. We did Padre Island a couple years ago, can't wait to get out that way again.

The camping setup. This was in Palo Duro.

For sure. I know exactly what you mean. I have 60/10.5 from F350 and had stock brakes and they were ok with the 40s but with the LS and Atlas 3.8 when I was in low range the brakes were a bit sketchy in some situations. Like 2 feet on brake and pull on the steering wheel to keep her from not want to surge forward. Now with a 6 piston front and 4 piston rear she will stop when I want her too.
I dig the matching trailer with the Hutchinson wheels!!
Have you been to Big Bend yet? Its a must if you haven't.
Where in Colorado you at? I usually hit it up at least once a year in the Jeep.

An LT is in my future, once the raptor is paid off haha. Thinking 6.2/10 speed. It will suck losing the manual, but from what I hear it's the way to go. I did a RockJock 60 in the rear, and I kept it semifloat specifically because I love the Hutchinsons so much. I probably should have bitten the bullet and upgraded wheels to go full float, but oh well.

Haven't done Big Bend yet. Will have to put it on the list.

We are in Denver Metro. Off-roading paradise.

Hell yes! Lt/10 speed would be awesome. I have a buddy that has a shop. He installs lots of 392 Hemis and is about to do an LT/10 in his JK. He has an LS/6L80 in it now.
You will eventually need to go to a FF once you get that pow pow under the hood. It will make you want to do stupid s h i t. Haha

Wheel matched trailers are such a good look.

Thanks!

I have an additional spare for the trailer. That gives me eight total, so I can rotate out a complete set from the Jeep to the trailer/spares. Pretty handy. Plus if I take the trailer, I ultimately have up to four spares to pull from if necessary, which is just crazy. And as you note, it just looks bad-ass.

I'm planning some significant mods to the trailer over the winter, including a rebuilt frame with a new A-frame tongue and space for a box + spare on the front. That existing main bar is weak-sauce, I think it's 16 gauge box tubing. I can see flex in it now, and it's getting to the point where I am concerned it would break on me. I've heard reports of that happening to others with this particular trailer.
