Just back from our daughter’s concert...had an opportunity to test out the XLs on the drive home and wow! Like turning on the sun!
Also swung by a construction site to get a couple pics. The ground drops off and only had my cell phone and it kept adjusting the aperature, so the pics don’t really do justice to the difference in the lighting...night and day difference though (see what I did there?).
And there too...LOL.
Factory low beams:
High beams plus amber flex lights:
All lights except the XLs:
With XLs:
Again, I don’t know if it’s my cell phone camera compensating for more/less light by opening the aperature, but the difference in light output is astounding. You can kind of tell with how the sky is brighter in the pics at lower light settings...but it never changed; just the glow of Austin out in the distance.
The XLs truly make it look like daytime out to 150-200 yards or so...huge difference. Will aim them up a few degrees to get some of the light off the hood, but it’s not distracting at all when driving as-is.
