Is that a dual arb compressor? If so, nice install been reading for a few years that there is no room in the engine bay for one. If you could do a write up on the install I am sure many would appreciate it.

That’s a single. Same place I mounted mine. There’s not enough room for the double

Where did you get the skid plates? I’d like to look into those. A buddy makes damn near the same thing for G Wagons

Today I got rid of the hideous red strip and made it a nice suede blue to match my seats and the stitching!!

Really like the job you did on that. I need to look into doing that for mine, but in orange. My steering wheel has the orange strip, but the dye tends to fade.

It’s vinyl wrap material in a blue suede finish... buddy with wrap shop had a sample piece. He did an entire car once and said “never again”

The skid plates were from RCI fab. You order by getting the ones for the f-150. I have a add bumper so for the full set I got the trans, transfer case and I called and ordered jus the rear half of the front skid to fill the little gap in between the bumper and trans skid. Seriously amazing quality and bolted up perfectly. https://rcimetalworks.com/

Also the ARB compressor was indeed a single and I used an Upgitter to power the relay. A dual comp would definitley not fit. I ended up extending the coupler down near the bumper so I didn’t have to open the hood to connect a hose.

Sweet Jesus that sounds hideous. I’m trying to get a mental picture of any car that might look good done entirely in blue suede, the closest I’m thinking might be an old Cadi with the fins...
