What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Yeah just screwed in to the side. Works like a charm.

Now I have to get past this learning curve on how to find the right frequency.

Unless you have software to do it, you typically need it programmed. That's the case for the Kenwood I have from PCI.

It's fine, I had one on my Gen2 and it seems like the quality/control has gone down. The finish was rough at the seams, the Air filter was suppose to be the dry cotton and I received the oiled. The filter was inside the main part of the air box and had a big crease in the body of it where someone jammed it in during packing. I had to mount it with the metal seam to the top so it is visible through the window in the air box. I know it's a cheaper CAI but its still $325.
It does seem to help the engine sound a tad deeper. I like the window with the gasket way better than all the little bolts they used on the old model.
I don't feel that it has any performance gains. I liked how the old one I had looked. Now I'm just disappointed.
