I agree. And you could still open the slider if you really needed to see something in the moment. I like that better than the license plate frame if I were to do it.

Mounted the camera inside just above the rear sliding window. Looks great during the day, but as soon as it gets dark out, the tint on window is too dark and can’t really see anything. Looks like im gonna have to mount outside above the plate. View attachment 483695

The kit comes with double sided tape that i used.

In the photo it looks brighter then usual. Theres times when the screen is almost all black.
