What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Picked up a set of low miles 37" bead locks for a really low price from Fbook marketplace for my 35" 801A. Like others have posted, they fit with no added lift or springs. Spare fits as well. Even added the Husky mud flaps and still no rubbing.

Now all I have to do is add some dirt to the tire shine supplied by the previous owner.

Last weekend, I removed the SDI tophats and Eibach 1.5" rear springs (which I had for about 5–6 months) with Foutz standard-height tophats and Geiser springs on all four corners. A few days ago, I also installed Foutz diff skid plates. Over the past few months, I've added several upgrades, including Foutz shock guards, shock skid plates, rear bump stops, RPG UCAs, Swarfworks rear trailing arm guards, and SDHQ rear ABS guards.

Next on my list are the Foutz front bump stops with straps and half tie rods. I'm still debating whether to do or not on the Foutz sway bars.

What made you switch from the SDI top hats to the Geiser/Foutz setup?

What made you switch from the SDI top hats to the Geiser/Foutz setup?
With SDI tophats, factory front springs, and 1.5" Eibach rear springs, the ride quality was very close to factory, which I appreciated. However, I wanted to address a few key issues: reducing nose dive when braking, minimizing nose lift during acceleration, and achieving a firmer feel in Sport mode. Additionally, when I loaded the truck bed during trips, the rear sagged, leaving the truck nose-high.

Since switching to Geiser springs on all four corners, paired with the Foutz standard-height tophat, I’m very pleased with the setup. The ride feels noticeably firmer in standard mode, yet more controlled and refined overall. It’s a significant improvement in both performance and ride quality.

So far this year, with the previous SDI and Eibach setup, I’ve completed six trips, and I’ve truly come to appreciate the incredible capabilities of our trucks. Now, I’m gearing up for my third trip to Baja, CA, where I’ll be combining some mild off-roading adventures with fishing. I’m really looking forward to it with the new setup.

On my last trip a few weeks ago to Big Bear and Johnson Valley, I was joined by my friend with a long-travel Tacoma, as well as a Tundra and a Jeep, which are part of our regular crew for all our adventures.

Installed the ProCal tune. Smoother and better trans shifts. No real seat of the pants difference but that isn’t a surprise with the nominal power increase.

When looking for a process to hopefully disable the visual seatbelt reminder, I found a video showing how to disable the audible reminder on YouTube and it worked for me.
So I tried this (I think), but I'm apparently an idiot because it didn't work: Does he have the seatbelt actually in his hand, and buckling/unbuckling it each time x4?
