Bummer, sorry to hear that. Prolly why the deal was so good. Wander if that lone LED Cree can be replaced vs replacing the whole unit…
Seller honestly didn’t know, he is a good enough guy that he paid for the shipping label to have it sent to Baja design, he is then going to pay for the repair, which will then have a warranty under my name. What more can you ask for. I got the lights, SPV brackets, and harness from him for $500. He is obviously losing a little more money now with the repair, but doing what’s right to make the situation right.

I didn’t do anything really, but @DougDimmadome hooked me up today with a pile of Forscan fixes and installed parts for the heated steering wheel.

Glare free - it really is amazing
Fogs on with high beams
DRL brightness to 75%
Double honk disabled
Door chime disabled
Lane change now 5 blinks
Front windows down and up via remote
Gauges show temps on the cluster
Heated wheel enabled

Thanks again man. Outstanding morning!
Did he walk you through the mods or actually do them for you in Forscan? I'd love to make some changes but don't really feel comfortable messing with it myself.

Installed the RCI Engineering transmission skid plate, catalytic converter skid/anti-theft plates, and transfer case skid plate. I had been waiting for weeks for the RCI engineering diff cover and kept getting the run around on when it will ship. Their communication is pretty terrible. Canceled the RCI order and went with a competitor that also offers better protection with no protruding bolts that can get damaged. Same with the fuel tank skid.

So he had everything on his laptop. I had done decent research on here and the Excel sheet to help go thru each change/module. I looked over his shoulder, it seems like if you know what you are doing, fairly straight forward. The big thing is before doing any changes, get a copy of the ‘from factory’ settings. And the other watch out is making the change to the correct digit/place.

I’m sure I could have figured it out on my own. Probably would have taken a lot more time. Dave has it down to a science and makes short work of it. Plus he has the license, latest software, etc. Now my truck is set up like I want, so I don’t have a need to download it all and buy a license.

Plus, Dave is a great guy and loves doing the work. Was a win-win Saturday morning!
