supposed to be better in fog snow and rain less. less glare and less strain on eyes. in those conditions. its been a long time since I had amber fog lights. hard for me to remember how much better.
I can confirm that amber lights do wonders in whiteout conditions. Our stock ones are pretty tame. I have some Rigid amber fogs on my Land Cruiser that are unbelievable in inclement weather.

I wrapped 2 of the bead locks last night in a reflective desert tan provided by rappygraphics. I plan on getting aftermarket wheels and tires later, 20”x10” but I’m gonna get some mileage out of these stock tires first. Thoughts on the color? I didn’t want to go Orange as it’s been done a lot. Ol Winston photo bombed me.

Thoughts on color…whatever color makes You happy! We won’t be looking at it nor will we be driving it everyday. Some decisions in life are much too simple that doesn’t require much thought…this is one of them. Your truck man…be bold, be brave, now decide.

Got her high centered on ice/snow on top of a 6300' mountain right in the middle of a winter cold snap for a balmy 10 degrees outside. ....freeze your scarf strait out I tell ya! Took off too hurried for the day and did not prep properly (no shovel, no overalls). I had told the wife I must grab one but got distracted with junk and kids and forgot. We climbed to the top with little problem and started across the back side. I bucked a few drifts but most was 6-12" deep. I could see it was only going to get worse so decided to turn around. I backed up till I was past the rut/ditch on the driver's side then executed a state cop turn. The front end came around perfect to where I was pointed back the way I came...almost! Then whomp! I thought I may have hit a stump or rock. Putting it in drive would only spin all four tires. ....damned! No shovel....damned! ....have to call friend...damned! ....friend arrives 90 minutes later with shovels and we dig. I was SOOOOO relived when no stump/rock but only several layers of ice before the ground. Once the Raptor settled to the ground, it was an easy hop back up into my tracks and back out. Not bad for less than 150 miles on her! Very happy I did not break anything on a hidden nasty. All in all, an adventure and isn't that what Raptor is all about?
