Replaced my passenger mirror. Apparently the whole too wide for the automatic carwash thing is more than just a suggestion.

I would have to say, I never put mine through any automated wash.

My RX8 just blew an apex seal at the mere idea of having to stay outside! My Land Rover probably just started leaking as well!

The Land Rover sign was next to a dumpster near the dealership, and I asked if they were just throwing it away, and if I could have it, they said yes to both. So I strapped it to the roof of my Discovery 2 and took both of them! Ended up selling one to a indy Land Rover shop, and kept the other.

Ended up deciding to pull my exhaust tip and painting it black on a whim. I think it turned out okay. Perhaps another coat at some point.

Checked out new lights to insure proper operation.

I would have to say, I never put mine through any automated wash.

It fit just fine but when the spinning paintslapper came by it folded the mirror in with such force that it cracked the housing and broke off a piece near the window.

I was lucky I saw how hard it closed and folded in the drivers side before it came back around.

Does the side lights shine in your side mirrors?
Looks like the light bar holds the lights up there permanently, do you have much wind noise at highway speeds? When my WSI actuator failed and left the lights up, the wind noise was annoying as hell. Now that I replaced it and it can now lower, it is so much better so was curious on yours.
