Glad I went with silver - decided to test drive a '12 Silver Screw yesterday (there's about 8 new '12s locally). -- yes, first time I have driven a Raptor even though I ordered one. Man the truck is absolutely F***ing AWESOME. I just made the wait even harder!!

Had every intention of ordering a blue flame but my dealer had a full page sample of terrain that I was able to take into sunlight, bend it to see how light hits it. Sample sold me, the pics don't do it justice as they say, it solid has no metal flake and to me had a hint of green when light hit it just right. Is darker than it looks in the pictures, the sample was shiny though, not matte or lacquer looking as described but that could just be the sample. Excited to see it on the truck in person

I have a blue flame Raptor now, I did not want the same color on my 13. I ordered Silver but I still contemplate changing my order to Race Red, I am really surprised there is so few Red ones?

I would bet I see black here in Colorado 80% of the time. I was tempted to find an 11 when they built a few true black ones instead of Tuxedo black.

Red is a hard color to take care of in my experience. I do think Red with the graphics will give the lookers whiplash. Silver is the absolute easiest, even if its dirty, it looks good from a distance.

I originally ordered Tux Black, but a week later I changed to white. I think the black looks great but way to hard to maintain. Add in the fact the truck doesn't fit in your garage or a car wash, and you've got issues.

Hey there. I'm Aaron. Brand new to the forum. I joined to gain as much knowledge as I can about these trucks. I'll be ordering a Race Red '13 "Screw" on Thursday. Can't wait to be part of the Raptor club.
