My 6 month free trial period is up and Sirius is calling me and sending offers of $129.00 a year. Anyone seen any better deals than this? Promotional codes I should know about?
Thanks!

I just renewed a couple of days ago, so I have it handy. The rates are as follows:
- Monthly: $12.95
- 3-Month: $38.85
- 1-Year: $129.50 (2 months "free")
- 2-Year: $259.00 (4 months "free")
- 3-Year: $388.50 (6 months "free")

I renewed for 1 year and the total cost including U.S. Music Royalty Fee and taxes came to $143.49.

Yeah, those are the same rates I got. It's been my experience (with XM) that there is always a "better deal" out there if you dig deep enough.

If I really loved satellite radio (I don't) I would re-up right away. I'm just having a hard time justifying paying 11 bucks a month for something I'm not really wild about.

The only way I have ever gotten a better deal was to hold out, through all the annoying phone calls after the subscription runs out, and eventually you can get it down to 50 bucks like I did... keep telling them your not interested or you will think about it and finally they will give in. :ROFLJest: That was about a 4 month ordeal, which they never cut off my sirius either...

I called and had it extended to 3-years and paid something for it. Then, when I got the new truck they for some reason couldn't "swap" the service from old truck to new truck. I also paid, in advance, for internet listening capabilities.

It all got ****** up and went to shit.

In the end, I didn't pay anything additional but I got an 18-month "demo period" and then my 3-years start over after that. So I kinda bought 3 years almost a year ago and now I get 4.5 years. :)

I'm paying $4.00 a month because I told them I didn't want it anymore. They kept calling at least 2 times week and I never answered the phone cause I knew it was them and they never leave a message. For at least 2 months I let this go on. Finally answered when they called again and got that deal for $4.00. I guess they figure that much is better then nothing. You have to be firm with them and act like you can do without it. My dealer put me on to this and told me what to do once it expires and it works. Unless they monitor this thread anyways. Lol. Try it, it will work.

I added 3 years with 6 months free. When I added my wife's car they gave an additional discount for the second subscription.
