What are all the problems with 13's ?

Besides the door latch issue, I think i have a lifter bleeding down. On cold start up I get a tapping noise for about 3 sec then gone till it sits for a while.

I don't thik we ever figured it out. But some people thought it could be related to aftermarket frame braces

Aftermarket frame kits and bed covers combined. Looks like the impact of the bumpstops stops/slows the rear of the truck. But the extra weight of bedcover continues to travel downward and the force is exerted on the bedsides which gives outwards..

I don't think the bed covers are part of that equation. It's the frame/bump stop kits combined with some hard off-roading action. J0shM1lls got bed spread on the RPG Sema run without a bed cover if I'm not mistaken. A bakflip F1 probably weights 50 lbs.

Could be.. The ones I have seen/heard about have a lip mounted bedcover on them..

I think you're hearing from those more than the others because the spread causes the cover to not be securable which is the biggest issue for the people who have them, and the biggest reason for having the cover.

I had this exact same problem the other day. Only has happened once and I can't get it to do it again. Just a very loud tapping noise for about 3 seconds on first start up. My friend was in the garage and was like wtf was that?

as for the other problems I've had with my '13

250 miles - Rear O2 sensor goes bad
300 miles - Roof seal pops up (they forgot a rivet from the factory)
350 miles - 3rd brake light has water in it, left rear has condensation
