Hi I am looking to add a 40" light bar behind my upper grill and don't know what one to get? Rigid M&R, Blackhawk? Any others? M&R and Blackhawk seem most cost effective. Also ease of install and placement behind grill in each kit. Thank you

Rigid. If you are going for something not as expensive as VisionX or Baja Designs, Rigid. They are a lifetime warranty company and back their product. Ease of installation is there with Rigid as well. Shoot me a PM for pricing. Thank you!

We also offer the SR 40" kit if you dont need/want the double row E-Series, it saves you a couple hundred bucks

I got the blackhawk. THey're on sale this month. Half the price of others, and excellent performance. I almost got the M&R, but the price was the same, and the warranty on M&R is 1 year IIRC, and the blackhawk is lifetime.

I also got an ebay 30". They have 40" as well, but I can tell a difference in light output. Not just from being larger, but the ebay one and blackhawk one are the same combo patterns, but the ebay one doesn't throw as far but it throws broader closer, and the blackhawk throws farther but not as broad. Together they're an excellent combo with the 30" being better for near and the 40" being better for far, and even after buying both it will still will leave a few hundred bucks in your pockets over a single one of other brands.

Let the whole USA made arguements begin. I support that where it's economically sensible for me to do so. I go to the regular checkouts with lines in stores vs. the empty self checkouts because it's giving job security for people. I drive American brand cars vs. foreign. lol. Gotta draw the line somewhere though I'm not paying double on an LED bar with a stupid profit margin when there's competition for half the price with the same warranty.

You know whats funny, the girls at Lowes act annoyed when I go to them at the regular checkout instead of the self checkout.
Go with Rigid.

I have the Blackhawks 30" & 40" in my grill. More light than I could ask for and lifetime warranty. I was surprised at how many rigid dually's I seen with water in them this past run. Might I add, The Blackhawks match my rigids perfectly too. If im going to waste the money, it be on baja designs or visionX. These light bar companies surely now how to make profits, must say! Lol

M&R is "cost effective" because its crap...

Go Rigid if you want the best, not cheapest.

M&R should be out the equation honestly, Blackhawks have a lifetime warranty too which is the reason RIGID's are what they are now in my opinion. I noticed 3 trucks with RIGID dually's that had water in their lights, another member Holly, also had issues with water in her RIGID 20" causing the whole bar to go out. This is what you pay for, the warranty which Blackhawks are warranted as well. I don't understand why RIGID's still have such positives though ...........

The warranty for M&R is 5 years no questions asked
