Ok Susan. You clearly know it all.Don I doubt you push your truck like I do. I come to forums for answers And information, not haters. There’s enough of those everywhere
Thanks
First off, 40psi for off-road is way too high, air down. I would adjust the front a bit stiffer, go to 5 right in the middle. If its bouncy in the front, adjust up some but I typically wouldn’t go past 7.
Here is a chart that might give you a starting point on the rear. I run general offroad
Walter at Aftermarket HQ knows what he is doing and runs ICONs himself. He should be able to get you dialed in. I personally had some rebuild issues on my ICONs with him but that is another issue. Walter didn’t do the work, a new guy did at the time from what I was told. I would have them recheck the torque on the suspension bolts, one bolt on the LCA could of been missed, it happens. They can check the tie rods too. Did they do the alignment too? Maybe the alignment shop didn’t tighten them enough. Personally if a shop out there can align from the UCA then have Walter install a set of slot deletes and adjust from the ICON upper. I have bent three ICON wheels when off-roading hard but it sounds like you didn’t hit anything too rocky. I switched to method trail series and couldn’t be happier, strong!
ICON suspension is just fine and not inherently the issue. I have no clue what these guys are talking about. It’s definitely an upgrade over stock.
You said that the aftermarket suspension was the issue in your last post. The suspension is not the issue and that is what I was referencing, it is NOT. The suspension he has is better than stock. What we are talking about is this statement
"So i have a few questions.
1) i thought this truck was built for this? What do you all do if you off-road a lot?"
C'mon, you should know that this truck has all the off-roading capabilities in the world, and that's straight out of the factory. This guy who says he runs harder than anyone yet has never gotten all 4 in the air and runs tires at 40 psi??? Dude!
