How do you know it was from Canada? The speedometer shows mph on the outside of the dial, not KPH.

OP,
I’d ask them to put on their lift and do a video chat. It’s a pretty common way to work a deal these days.
I just purchased a 2011 from a 1k miles away. It went ok. In hindsight I would had have them video an in truck drive...

Skid plate is missing as well. If the cab corners are rusting then the rockers are as well. I spend about $6k fixing them on my old truck. I would look for a different truck if it were me.
