WDH, Class IV Hitch, or Timbren? Combination?

I've used a Husky WDH previously on my Tacoma towing our 4800# camper and now my 18' Raptor.
Works very well when you follow the directions...

I'm having a hard time getting some straight advice on how to help a 2020 Ford Raptor tow / without sagging. I know it is not a tow vehicle per se, but what I am towing is pretty light. Keep in mind it is an *ALUMINUM* frame trailer which has implications (WDH is not usually recommended?).

The 2020 Raptor is rated for 500/5,000 without WDH. So, I am just barely above the rating of the truck. In theory, the trailer TW goes down when trailer is loaded with weight on trailer axle. Just want to get rid of the slight sag, and the possibility of wearing out the stock suspension over time.

WDH? Bumper? Installing Class IV hitch. Timbren? Combination. Ugh. Help?

If I were you I'd call Deaver and speak directly to them about what you're trying to accomplish. There are A LOT of uninformed opinions on this forum. Have the professionals at Deaver walk you through your options. Yes I'm talking a new spring pack but they can fashion it so it won't detract from the trucks abilities when not loaded and possibly even improve it while not sagging under load. Any other solution would be for pavement driving..at least in my own uninformed opinion. I took my own advice as I also tow an off road trailer camper. The results have been spectacular.

I tow a 6,200lb trailer with my Gen 2 on stock springs with WDH and it tows great. This is the best weight distribution kit IMO and the one I use with the 4" drop: https://andersenhitches.com/Catalog/4-droprise-wd-kits.aspx
It's really simple to attach/detach, has built in sway control, and doesn't require disconnecting it when backing. It's one of the more expensive kits but when you figure in that it comes with an adjustable height hitch ball it's actually a pretty good deal IMO.

If you buy this kit I recommend welding the frame brackets to the trailer. On my application I could not get them tight enough to where they wouldn't move. I finally welded them on and no more issues.
