Waving Raptor Owners

I saw a white one on the way to work today just south of Del Mar Heights road. Looked like the guy uses it for work as it had some sort of rack over the bed (not a bed rack.) I would wave but my tinted windows prevent them from seeing me.

Waving to other vehicles is more common than not waving. Most people assume that if you don't wave back, you must be from out of state. I only ever saw 3 Raptors in the wild before I got mine (an oilfield pumper with a silver scab, a guy towing a nice boat down I-40 pulled into an Arby's at Elk City, and an orange scab on a used dealership lot.)

Since I got mine 9 days ago, I saw black and red SCrews in the same Walmart parking lot, a black SCab come through my little town, and a directional bore crew had a 2012 white SCrew as a work rig.

I usually wave or flash the brights. Get a response about half the time

I think I'm the only one in the area. They had two on the Ford lot, I bought one, and the other is still there. They have not gotten in any '13s so far. The other dealers in the area don't have any, either. Oh well. I still get a lot of looks, though. Amazing how many know about the beast and recognize it for what it is. That will bring a smile to anyone's face.

On my way to work Friday morning a 2012 or 13 Tux black Raptor pulled up to the light just as I started to pull away. I gave him a quick wave but all I got was a look of shock. Maybe it was from all the shit still on my truck from pulling my brothers 85 Range Rover Classic out of a cab filling mud hole.

i flash my lights. i saw a white raptor parked at homey depot so i parked my black raptor next to it. when i came out the guy and his wife were scoping out my truck. we got to talking comparing what we did to our trucks. we must of talked for 45 minutes until his wife started honking the horn!
