Can anyone recommend the water storage tanks that are going on top of rooftops? I’m wanting to get one to both store water and take showers while camping. I plan on mounting it on the cargo carrier on top of my truck cap.

I have a road shower in 4gal...I bought it because I wanted a solid and long lasting solution as opposed to a plastic one which could break. The aluminum is tough, but it is pretty heavy and the outlet is high enough to prevent full drain of the tank. The hose is also pretty short so if you have it up on your cap it will be difficult to use without an extension. I’m sure there are easy connect hoses you can add. I still like it and think it was worth it though.

Well, whatever floats your boat.
But a canteen of water and a microfiber cloth works fine, and so do baby wipes and similar products.

I made my own when I had my FJ cruiser. Just used 4” pvc pipe with a threaded shearer valve on one side to pressurize it and a hose adapter on the other where I could attach the hose. Cost 20 bucks for everything and worked great!
