Water in bed

i have the ford hard trifold its a bakflip f1 i think no water to speak of except around the tailgate

I had the factory on my gen 2 and it didnt leak at all except around the tailgate. ******** me let it go with the truck when I got my 21. I ordered one for extang who make the ford trifold. leaked on the hinge points. it was terrible. . sent it back and got a Lomax bed cover. (the one that has the same finish as the spray in liner. great fit. I love it, its much better since I can close it after the tailgate is closed. id tell them to refund your money unless the issues can be solved with the items I gave links of. those three spots are the common spots for leakage.

I also bought these from amazon to seal all the other potential leak spots. no leaks whatsoever.

I would do something like that just for the dust elimination alone.

all three did the trick. that was a major reason too (dust). there wasn't any dust to mention. some just because of the gaps in the seams of the multiple piece bed. that can't be avoided now that beds aren't caulked on the seams and painted.

cant tell anymore since I get a lot of dust and dirt coming off the tools and cargo I put in there but no water that is bothersome. I get a little that drips in. but very little, it collects on the rubber piece that covers the gap between the bed and tailgate.

so you have a Lomax on your Gen 3? Great to know. Have it on my 2020, and currently figuring out my Gen 3 plans.
