I was up hiking near Mowich Lake outside of Buckley/Wilkenson in the Mt. Rainier National Park yesterday and ran across an offroad park called Evans Creek. Pulled in for a minute to scope the entrance and it looks wide enough wide enough for my Raptor, but didn't have time to explore fully as I had a long drive back to Bellingham. My experience is that most of the west side trails are geared for ATVs and Jeeps, but has anyone had experience on this trek?

Most of these are Jeep trails. Too narrow for a Raptor.

I just went camping in the Olympic National forest this past weekend, I found a “power-line” road just past Shelton. I wanted to run it but the wife reminded me we had our sleeping kiddos and gear in the back. Might make a special trip later to fully experience the road. Did not see any trespassing signs or anything.

Just watch out for logging trucks. I spent quite a bit of time out there when I lived in Washington. I don't know if Strattleline (sp?) Is still open but you might be able to take the Raptor on the track there. Mostly an ATV park though.

Thanks, sozzy12. Appreciate your perspective....bummed at the result. Might need to buy a beat up jeep to have some fun in W. Wa. Oh well, off to Ram Offroad Park in CO Springs mid Sept.

Yeah, “cautious” is my middle name. I’ve seen the MX track but it looked kinda small for a truck to run on it. I’ll look into it though. Thanks

Speaking of narrow trails, I was up in Greenwater on a FS road and I was clipping right along. Went down this trail that appeared slightly overgrown. I made it approximately 100 yds in before I noticed the branches started to touch my truck. I locked up the brakes and carefully maneuvered back out. Luckily just a couple small superficial scrapes that buffed out.
