I use one of these also. No running boards to stand on.

I just stand on the running boards for the roof and a cheap stool for the windshield, she still shines after 5 years and 71,000 MI

Just the cheap one from Amazon. Use a Dewalt 3400 psi pressure washer. Griot's Foaming Surface Wash. Works good. (Older picture).

Steps for a normal wash:
Rise
Foam cannon
Wheels *its own wash bucket
Wash truck twice *2 bucket system
Finish 12 pack of IPA staring at the truck.

i would, i can for the most part reach half of the roof standing on the running boards, im not super tall either. No complaints waxing the roof, the real pain was taking care of the rubber seals for the sunroof.

Consider something like this for the underside instead.

Last year I went with a Ryobi myself. I haven't used it yet because pressure washer problems came up and in the winter I'll just use a touchless wash I found that has underbody for $5. The one above comes with the extension wand, costs less, and is 16 inch wide while Ryobi is only 11 inch wide.
