About a minute to two minutes per tire with the knock off power tank I have. I bet I've aired up 20+ tires on this fill. Starting to get light though, so I'll take it back to High Country for a refill soon.

What brand? I'm considering the Smittybilt one for $200, though I haven't really worked out where to carry it permanently.

That's the one I have...smittybilt. I hear the power tank brackets fit these tanks. I've been debating mounting mine on a rear wheel well in the bed with the bracket. Something similar to this, but actually mounted on the wheel well in the wasted space.

Actually, I have no need for winch in my Raptor. I may see if the tank will fit/mount in the winch locker.

Dane you could also do one of the Viair units. They sell them at Murdochs off Sante Fe and Highlands Ranch pkwy. Then if its not powerful enough you can return it easily.

Yeah, the bed is so small, I just don't know that I want to lose what precious space I have. I haven't ruled it out though.
So no issues with the Smittybilt? I'm hard pressed to figure how it would be different than the PowerTank (which costs twice as much).

When you refill it, is it just a flat fee, or do you actually pay per pound like filling up propane? I guess I'm asking if you basically run it until empty, or refill it at your convenience, just paying for what you've used.

I have run a Viair before - in my old CJ and it worked fairly well. I had it set up to a tank. It is a consideration if I could figure out a decent mounting setup for the Raptor - preferably somewhere out of the way and not in the bumper (reserved for winch). I haven't seen many of these setups though.

Made in China vs made in US. I just couldn't justify the extra 200 bucks plus for the original power tank. The fittings and hoses seem ok. Plus, you can buy replacements if these ever go out.

I notice the metal fittings starting to freeze up after doing so many tires, but it doesn't seem to affect functionality (just frost on the outside of the fittings since it's liquid CO2).

It's a flat fee per fill ($8 I think). They weigh the empty tank (new) before the first fill and write that number on the tank. So, you can always weigh it if you think it's getting too low. I haven't run it empty yet, and I plan to get it refilled before I do.

The Guy that told you the compressor on the Powerplant is a joke is an idiot. It puts out 4cfm at 90psi show me any other compressor that comes even close to that. I'd put one on in a heartbeat of it would fit had one on my Jeep and used it all the time for airing up and air tools etc.

I'll admit I'm a little ignorant here. I have no basis for comparison when it comes to output, so opinions like this are very helpful. Also, I haven't seen anything about duty cycle in regards to the PowerPlant.

Any idea what something like an belt driven york puts out? Any idea what kind of fill time we're talking on the stock Raptor tires with the PowerPlant?

I saw you mentioned a 12k winch. That is way overkill for your rig unless you are planning on using it HARD all the time. Like to yank fullsize rigs up a rock course or somthing. A 9500 would be perfect for the Raptor and a lot lighter and less expensive to boot.
