Will a Warn PowerPlant HD (12,000lbs version) fit in the stock bumper of the Raptor assuming you have a winch plate in there? Has anyone done it?

Do any of our vendors offer a package deal? I'm considering a winch plate/PowerPlant/Synthetic line combination.

SDHQ makes one for the stock opening.

Ford Raptor Winch Mount

Or you could sack up, order a ADD Stealth winch, and I can order one as well, and we can work on a package deal. Jus' sayin...:gunner:

Yeah, that's the one I was looking at, but I needed to make sure the PowerPlant fits since it's a pretty big winch.

As much as I'd like that ADD bumper, I just don't have that kind of fundage set aside for it yet.

Why are you going with such a large winch? If you talk to Micha over at ADD he will make you a deal on a bumper/winch combo. I ordered a set a couple of weeks ago.

i tried to fit one on dubbs' ADD bumper, and it didnt clear. that winch is just MASSIVE. although the ADD bumper did slant it at about a 30 deg angle backward.

No way it would fit on the stealth. I bought the warn compressor seperate and put it in the box

I think I've been talked out of the PowerPlant. The guys over at High Country 4x4 said it's just a gimmick and the air compressor part is a joke. I think I will be just going with a basic 12,000 pound winch. I wish I could include a bumper currently, but they are so damned expensive, I just don't have it set aside right now.

And yes, the reason I wanted the PowerPlant was for the winch/compressor combination. I've been having a miserable time with airing up tires lately. I'm working on a true belt driven onboard air for my Jeep, I had hoped to have something decent on the Raptor as well.

ive had pretty good luck with the powerplants. just not with them fitting inside anything.

Jason at SDHQ said it would fit in the stock bumper with their winch plate.
How long does it take to air up the stock Raptor tires?
