Often it depends on the servicing dealership and how far they want to dig or whether they want to drww a hard line on it but the short answer is yes, a dealership can void the warranty for header installation. But I've seen dealers who attempt to do so for an intake or catback exhaust. It really depends on the dealership...

If you take it in for warranty work, the dealership would have to prove it was the headers that caused it. Thats basically what the Magneson-Moss warranty act covers. If your not familiar with it, research it. It can save you a lot of headache if you go up to bat with them and they can see you know what your talking about. It been a battle ever since the act came out cuz the dealer will always have some kind of excuse. They'll try to lie but if you can catch them in it, theyll cover it.
