His guy still hasn’t responded to me....

Never heard back either. Ended up finding a Raptor on my own. My initial contact was maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Seemed like potentially a good deal if he was able to get one, but nothing ever came out of it after my first and only phone call with them.

Don, he just told me that his guys tried to find what you were looking for but were unable to do so. I guess you were very specific in what you wanted and when they couldn't find one, they let it go.

I will say this for everyone: these guys own several Ford dealerships. If they don't have what you want specifically, they have to try to dealer trade. That's proving to be really difficult as inventory has gotten really thin and many dealers don't want to give up their truck.

Let me be clear--my buddy is trying his best to have his guys find you a truck for invoice. If you can find exactly what you want, and what they can find isn't worth the difference in price, you're free to buy whatever you want from wherever you can find it. I'm simply trying to help connect guys for a good deal if it can be made. If the stars don't align, they don't align. Ford isn't producing anymore Raptors in the gen 2, and won't have the gen 3 until late 2021 or even late 2022 they're being told. To that, dealers are being protective of their trucks. He can't force a dealer to trade. If they can't find exactly what you want, they don't sell you a truck and their effort isn't recouped. He's fine having guys try, but don't come in here and be a jerk just because you couldn't get a deal done. He's also told me several guys have called, he's tried them back and they don't answer and their VM is full. You can't screen unknown numbers and ignore his calls or the calls from his guys and expect to get a deal done.

I feel like all of this is common sense. If he can help you (which he's done successfully 10 or so times now) that's great. If he can't, that's ok. It's not like I've asked you guys to paypal him a deposit for them to do the leg work. Give the guy a break!

My posts weren't meant to be negative at all. What you and your friend is offering is a definitely good additional resource for those searching for a truck.

I was really trying to hold out on buying a truck, because your friend seemed like he would have been able to offer an awesome deal if everything had worked out.

I didn't know the reason why they never got back to me was because they couldn't find a truck that fit my description. I suppose it would have been nice to know that, so that I could have moved on sooner.

Just for reference, I was looking for a lead foot, 802a, sunroof, heated rear seats and tail gate step.

Well, when you just post up that you haven’t heard back it doesn’t tell the full story.

I’ve been informed that as of today everyone that he’s actually had contact with has been pinged. He’s blasted any of his guys who haven’t followed up.

If you’ve called or texted (recommended) Ward and haven’t heard back please DM.

He’s a great dude from ND who’s a good buddy here in Denver and is just trying to help if they can. If you’re all hot to trot and a dealer up the street has what you want, get your wallet out!

Hi @Proflyer ,

I appreciate you giving your time to help others out. I'm in south florida and it is very difficult to deal with any of the local dealers here, they think everyone has the Miami mentality (pay more on your car than your rent) so they won't even bother to negotiate on these cars.
If you could DM the information for your connection, I am ready to make a deal if it's right of course.

Thank you again.

Could you please try to reach out to him. I have spoke to him once, he said he would get back with me the next day. I have not been able to get ahold of him since.
